This licence concerns several repertoires. SACEM and SDRM simplify the procedure with a single contract.
- The works you use were created by authors and composers and are protected by law.
- You must get licences from authors’ societies to use them.
- SACEM SACEM (Society of Authors, Composers and Publishers of Music) repertoire - musical works with or without lyrics, SACD SACD (Society of Dramatic Authors and Composers) repertoire
- dubbing and subtitles for drama
- musical documentary works only
- poems and sketches
- excerpts from dramatic and musico-dramatic works lasting less than 20 minutes for television
- realization of audiovisual works from the SACEM repertoire (humorous clips and videos)
- humorous or entertaining audiovisual works- dramatic theatrical, musico-dramatic, operatic, choreographic works, pantomimes, circus tours and versions of these same works for television, SCAM SCAM (Society of Multimedia Authors) repertoire
- sketches and one man shows from the SACD repertoire and broadcasts of live performances
- audiovisual, multimedia and radio works (TV films, series, serials, cartoons, animation, sketches, feature films and short films, docudrama)
- humorous audiovisual or radio works (including sketches or humorous sequences: parodies, impressions, hidden camera…)
- still images from the above-listed works- audiovisual documentary works (essays, studies, narratives, portraits, full-length and short news reports, creative videos, corporate films….)and SDRM SDRM (Society for the Management of the Mechanical Reproduction Rights of authors, composers, publishers, directors and dubbers-subtitlers). - as well as sister societies abroad which have signed reciprocal agreements offer you a single contract to license all the works in their repertoires.

- translations, dubbing, subtitling of works relating to SCAM repertoire
- still images (photographs, drawings, illustrations)
- works for radio excluding theatrical adaptations and musical works
- literary or multimedia works - With this single contract, you pay the royalties which are then distributed among the creators and publishers, to remunerate their work. Paying royalties entitles you to use these works in full respect of copyright/authors’ rights.
Tariffs
Authors’ remuneration in exchange for the licence is proportional to:
- charges, for private local radio stations belonging to associations eligible for support funds,
- income, for commercial local radio stations.
Licensing conditions
- Your contract grants you the right to broadcast the works you schedule on your private local radio station’s airwaves, and use the works to prepare your own programmes.
- Your licence is granted for reproduction rights Reproduction rights:
for recording works on media for the purpose of communicating them to audiences (CD, CD Rom, LP, multimedia, etc). and performing rights Performing rights:
for communication of a work to audiences, in particular by playing music in public places (shops, cinemas, discotheques, concerts, etc) and through media (radio, television, Internet, etc)..This licence does not concern, in particular, moral rights Moral rights:
moral rights, which grant authors the right for their name, position and work to be respected, are permanent and inalienable., subsidiary rights, such as arrangement, adaptation and translation rights Adaptation,
arrangement and translation rights:
a licence must be obtained from rights holders before undertaking any arrangement, adaptation or translation, i.e., any change in the original work (new version, remix, etc), etc. Nor does it concern neighbouring rights Neighbouring rights:
rights recognized by the French Intellectual Property Code (Book II), for performers and phonogram and videogram producers, in particular.. - You must be of legal age or the legal representative of a minor or a person under guardianship or curatorship.
