SACEM's repertoire includes the widest choice of music in the world

  • The works you use were created by authors and composers and are protected by law.
  • You must get licence from SACEM to use them.
  • SACEM provides a contract under which you pay royalties which are then distributed among the creators and publishers it represents, to remunerate their work. Paying royalties entitles you to use these works in full respect of copyright/authors’ rights.

The licence contract covers the repertoire of SACEM

  • Your licence is granted for mechanical rights and performing rights .

This licence does not concern, in particular, moral rights, subsidiary rights, such as arrangement, adaptation and translation rights , etc. Nor does it concern neighbouring rights.

The audiovisual works you wish to make available in the context of your video on demand service may also belong to other author’s societies repertoire. We suggest you contact them to know their licensing conditions.

You must also obtain prior consent from the audiovisual producers and distributors.
